So like I said in the previous post we spent the Christmas holiday in Arizona with the Ross side. It was a blast. We arrived the Saturday before Christmas. Which meant we got to go to church at my parents ward. Little Trout got her very first Christmas Dress
from Grandma April:
Brooklyn with her Christmas Dress on!
Our little family after church.
While in Arizona we got to meet our newest addition to the Ross family. My little brother Mathew has found a beautiful and wonderful woman to marry him. Her name is Miji Harris. The two of them came over to my parents house often to get in Brooklyn time.
Mathew and Brooklyn hanging out.
Of course this little one was just loving all the attention that was coming her way!
With my side of the family Santa comes on Christmas EVE night. It was so much fun to see the excitement in every ones eyes as we got closer to when Santa was going to come. Of course Trout had no real idea of what was going on. She was all about the sparkly stuff on the presents. So I sadly have only a few pictures that are clear form the even, due to our camera freaking out and so we used the I-touch which isn't always clear. So please endure with me:
Brooklyn can barley contain her excitement! She was way to helpful with all the unwrapping of the presents.
Brooklyn was all about having all her presents near her.... even under her.. She kept scooting everything she could get her hands on under her legs. And she would not let go of the little Elephant!
Here I am trying to show Trout the fun books my parents got her. She was so focused on the little Elephant my mom got her she was slightly unwilling to focus on anything else!
This was little Trout's favorite after we opened it. My parents got her the little people's nativity scene.
She would lay on her tummy for a while and play. Which is a big deal since she really dislikes being on her tummy!
I love this picture because you can see the little people's elephant my parents got her too and it of course had to be put in along with the camel in the nativity manger. Little Trout made sure it always was there. Kinda cute!
This was such a wonderful Christmas season. We were so blessed and so grateful to spend it with the both sides of the family. I am so happy that Brooklyn gets to see her aunts and uncles of the Ross side. She loves them so much. Thank you mom and dad for making Brooklyn's first Christmas so enjoyable. Until I write again I hope all is great in your neck of the woods!
