Hey to all of you who read this blog... So Doug and I both enjoyed our little dash up to home (Moscow, ID) this past week. We decided to fly this year and save our little SUV some mileage. Anyways so Doug and I got to compete this year in the show. We have a new team ( Justin and King) that we kinda helped break into the show business. So it was a little nerve racking but OK too. Here is one with Doug and Larry Loomis driving Joy and Ace.
Sadly I didn't get a lot of crazy fun pictures this time around cus my lame- camera was out of batteries. So I hope that our partners in the show took some and will share. Yes, I am speaking to you Tess and Andrew Jones!!!! Anyways So Doug is the only one who came out with a ribbon between the two of us. Yeah he has some bragging rights for sure!!!!! He placed 5Th in the Hitched Team. I didn't place in the women's team competition. But I will get to that story in a second. Here is a video of Doug and his driving skills. O' yeah Brian Loomis is the guy on the seat with Doug in the video (aka Doug's old boss)!
You will probably hear my lovely commentary....I know it was kinda dumb to say things while recording but hey you live and learn right.!?!
We did a lot of behind the scenes work, like making the horses look all professional and stuff. Here are a few pictures of Doug and I plus our other crew members working hard. Doug is rolling/braiding the mane of the horse to make them look all fancy. I got the fun job of doing the tails this year cus Sheila wasn't feeling so good.Normally she does it, but it got passed down to me.
Then came the competition I did. SO I am the first to admit that I almost ran over the judge, but hey who stands right in the way of an amateur driver.. I mean really come on here folks. But I totally swung the wagon really wide so they docked me on that and I think the judge docked me for nearly running him over. Man talk about rough.O' yeah I also hit a cone while I was backing up the horses. I blame that on Doug since he was my codriver and failed to point that out to me while I was trying to drive that huge wagon. But don't worry I didn't fire him from his job. YET!!!
We totally had a blast while we were there. I would highly recommend it to people who want to try out something new. There are shows all over the place.
Ok, So I had a hard time putting the videos on . I will update it tomorrow. Love you all.

Tee hee hee :) I love that Doug has brought out the cowgirl in you! I never thought you'd be doing horse shows, but look at you and your bad self! Girl, you amaze me! Don't worry about almost running over a judge. Who do they think they are anyway? :) LOL. So glad to see you so happy. Love your guts
Oh my gosh girl! I laughed SO hard when you got to your part of the show! Almost running over the judge! Hahahahahaha. I interrupted Mark (who is busily preparing for his Gospel Doctrine lesson for tomorrow morning) with my laughing even. You crack me up!
Fun Fun Fun!
