Nauvoo Trip!!!

Ok... So I know that I have blogged a lot this past two days, but I have a lot to put up on the blog since we took a long fun vacation. I probably won't have anything fun to put on the blog for a while so enjoy while it last. hehe Ok so Doug found out his ancestors lived in Nauvoo and where very important in building the town up with Joseph Smith. That was our main goal : Find all info we can on David D. Yearsley. O and have fun too!! Here are some really fun Pics.

The whole family went on a handcart trek. That left a lot of memories for everyone.

After that we all decided to check out Old Nauvoo and go visit Doug's family site.

This is the only 3-story home left standing in Old Nauvoo and Doug's Great (I don't know how many greats) grandfather built it when they first arrived there

We also had the chance to do a few sealing in the Nauvoo temple with my oldest bro and his lovely wife. It was such an amazing trip. I love being out east. I don't mind even chewing the air. haha.

We also had a chance to visit Carthage Jail while we were out East. Thanks again Mom and Dad for such a great vacation. We love you all!!!

AWE! You make me miss Nauvoo! Rob and I found out after we were married that his third great grandfather (Jonathan H. Hales) was a bishop in Nauvoo, and my third great grandfather (Joseph Lee Robinson) was one of his counselors! Cool, eh?

If you like to chew air, you should try what they have in San Antonio. That stuff will keep you full for a month!

Yay for Nauvoo! Haven't been there for so long! Do you keep in touch with Rebekah? I told her a while ago about finding your blog. She and Scott went to Nauvoo as a part of their honeymoon- I think.
