So we headed to Hamer for our annual family reunion. Here are some pictures to help sum up all the fun we had:
The Reunion dates were over the Fourth of July weekend. So we all got to see the Hamer Parade. It was a first for me and Brooklyn. She loved all the candy that got thrown at her. She also loved just relaxing in her lawn chair too.
Diana and I sitting on the tailgate waiting for all the parade fun to begin.
My hot hubby and I waiting for all the fun. He looks so excited to be there.
Some of our fun games were glow in the dark volley ball. The little kids got to wear glow in the dark bracelets and necklaces. Brooklyn was all about the volley ball.
The next day we had lots and lots of water fights and fun slip n slide moments.
The kids were all in heaven.
At one point the old boys (Doug and his brothers) were using the slip n slides. Ben came running full speed down the slide and was screaming down the slide. Brooklyn walked in the path of him and we all freaked out because he could not stop. Ben took it in style , in one smooth motion he flipped from belly to bum and scooped Brooklyn into his arms and finished the slide with out any harm to him or Brooklyn. It was so amazing. I wished I had that on video because it was so cool.
Brooklyn is smiling under her very large summer hat. I made her wear it most of the day because she is so fair skinned. She is so precious with those adorable thighs and cute smile.
All is in all it was a fun family get together. Hope all is great in your neck of the woods.
