This June Doug went on a big adventure scout trip back in the mountains for four days. Brooklyn and I decided to pack up and head to Grandma Yearsley while he was gone. So we made the long 3.5 hours road trip by ourselves. It was so worth it.
Brooklyn loves to spend time with her Grandparents. She just loves the attention she gets.
Brooklyn is such a sweet little toddler. This is her trying to drench mommy with a water balloon.
Grandma showing her how to fill the balloons up.
She loved to pick them up and throw them and then she would giggle after they exploded on the grass.
The next day we got to go visit our Great Grandma Robinson. ( Grandma Yearsley's mom). At her house there are some really fun building blocks. So while we visited she played and played.
Super focused on her blocks.
Grandma trying to help Brooklyn build a tall tower.
We also got in some shopping time too. Brooklyn was a trooper as we went to a few stores to check things out.
All smiles at the store parking lot.
Another day we had some of the girl cousins over for play time in the pool.
Those girls played and played in the water. They loved the girl time they got to have. Brooklyn loves her girl cousins.
After the fun in the sun they all had lunch/ picnic style in the living room while they watched Cinderella. Lots of Girl Fun!!
We had a blast with our cousins and family time. So glad they are only 3.5 hours away so we can go and play once in a while.
Hope all is great in your neck of the woods.
