Well we had the wonderful opportunity to go to Arizona again in less than two months to visit my side of the family. My younger brother Mathew got married t Miji Harris in the Mesa Arizona Temple on Feb. 16th at 10 am.
This is the only picture I have of the Wonderful couple. They are standing with my grandma and grandpa Ross.
So this trip to Arizona was made via Airplane. We decided that the 30 hour round trip was not going to happen again. It took us nearly a month to convince Brooklyn that every time she got in her car seat that it wasn't going to be a 10 hour drive, but just a few minutes. She still has a hard time being in her car seat for longer than 5-6 minutes. So we decided to pay the large sum of money to save our minds and ourselves the stress and just fly the two hours to family.
So after much research on how to fly with young children we were packed and ready to try this new adventure. We packed so many toys and treats that I was worried the airport would stop us and question us for all the crazy things I packed... but lucky us they didn't.
The flight there was delayed by an hour and a half and Brooklyn was done being stuck in the airport and began to scream. I began to freak out because all my tricks I had brought weren't working on my very tired and ready for bed child. But with in minutes of being placed in her seat ( which alligent made us pay for her to fly even though she is only 10 months!) this is what we had:
Out like a light! All she needed was a bottle and two snuggle blankets.
She was like this the whole entire flight to Arizona. Just as we touched down she woke up all smiles. It was our first flight as a family of three and we made it with only a few break down moments.
While we were there the weather was absolutely perfect. It was in the high 70s most of the time. So what do we do in that kind of weather... of course go play in the pool!
Brooklyn loving the sun. Don't worry I slathered her up with so much sun block!
Once we got in the pool she was all about splashing and getting everyone wet. She would not let go of the little rubber ducky.
Our little family of 3 enjoying the pool in February!!!
So the Girls got ready for the wedding by doing our nails! We of course watched a fun movie while I painted the girl's toes.
We even got little Brooklyn in on the fun too. We painted her little toes bright bubble gum pink. Since we was going to be wearing some adorable silver sandals for the wedding reception.
Mommy and Brooklyn toes!
So while the girls did nails the Boys all went out bowling and had pizza and root beer for the bachelor's party.
Mathew, Tommy, Bryan, and Nathanael waiting for their turn to bowl.
All these party animals were stuck to their phones!
Here is my dad getting ready to bowl and beat the young punks at the game!
After all the fun and games we headed to the wedding reception for more fun!
The packer sisters came to support Mathew.
The Ross relatives came too!
Well of course Doug and Jared helped start the fun project of destroying/ decorating the groom and bride's car. The two older guys (Jared and Doug) supplied the younger kids with all the ammo for this project. In the end it turned out pretty good!
While they were out decorating I was in side with a tired little girl. She was out most of the reception. Thank heavens she waited until after the wedding reception family pictures to fall asleep.
Out cold!
Bride and friend Libby helping clean up after the reception. Miji is one beautiful bride!! My little brother is one lucky kid!
Well I hope all is great in your neck of the woods!
