I feel like time flies by so stinking fast and that I never have time to sit down and write about things. Then just as I am ready some little bug thinks she needs to be held, changed, bathed and fed. So that is my story and I am sticking to it. So here is a whirlwind explanation of what we have done in august.
Brooklyn Wore her first TUTU to church!
Can you tell how stinking excited she is?
Daddy and little bug!
Mommy and bug going to church and with the adorable tutu!!
This was also the first month that we tried out rice cereal! She was so thrilled and didn't seem to have any problem figuring out the spoon either. One of her favorite things to do is eat! ha ha
"where is the food? I am so ready!!!"
This was our end results of our first attempt! I am kind proud that she had more in her tummy and less on the face for my very first baby feeding for her!
She can hardly hold her excitement as the spoon came close!
This month was also a first for mommy trying to paint little bug's toe nails. So after her evening bath we decided to try it out. It seemed like it would be really easy, but it turned out to be more of a crazy moment then what I had planned. Daddy picked out the cute blue polish for mommy to put on little bug.
So this picture is her in a Bumpo seat, ( only thing that could keep her in one place). It is probably not the most flattering picture of her. oops, she is so stinking cute and chunky!
Trying really hard not to get too much nail polish all over her feet but more on her toe nails. She was pretty good while I painted. She was really focused on what I was doing in this photo!
Another first was done in late August at Mudlake Arena. Doug and I plus little bug went to a fun Rodeo. It was little bug's first rodeo. She was so good and actually seemed to enjoy all the noise and animals.
Little bug hanging out with Grandpa and Grandma Yearsley.
This was the end of the Rodeo, Can you tell Bug was so ready to be done by then?
But I do love this photo of our little family.
Check out those cheeks!! Little Bug with horns/ cute hat!
Doug and I enjoying the rodeo! Don't love my cheesy smile, but it is a good photo of my hubby!
Family photo time!
I love to try and get family photos as much as possible. I had an opportunity to get one out in a wheat field and I was lucky enough to have a nice weather day after church while we were down visiting Doug's parents.
Grandma yearsley and Little Bug after our photo shoot in the field.
This is one of my favorite photos of the family.
Some of the other things that occurred in August were:
Brooklyn rolled over once... and hasn't tired since.
She got two bottom teeth. We found the first one by surprise, I say this because she didn't have any symptoms such as rash, fever, temper, extra drooling.
When the second one came in on the bottom she made sure we knew she got it. She was a little more crabby than normal that week. haha
