Fourth of July fun and more!

FoUrTh of July!!!
So this was out little Brooklyn's first July 4th. We decided that we would keep this holiday low key this time around. The day started out with having Doug's parents come visit. It was not a rushed event, but more of a casual event. The girl's slept in that morning while the boys went out and fished and shooting. Around noon we had a yummy  BBQ picnic dinner and relaxed in the shade.
Grandma and Grandpa hanging out with Baby B!
This is Brooklyn in her cute 4ht of July outfit. Sadly she only wore it once and then out grew it so stinking fast!

Check out that cute hat she is sporting! She loves her sun hat!
So after lunch we said goodbye to Grandpa and Grandma Yearsley cuz they headed home. Doug and I decided to go out into our front field and watch the fireworks instead of going into town. Even out in our field we could hear the big booms of the fireworks. I think it was smart to have done it this way because little Brooklyn wasn't scared and she enjoyed them... well for the first 10 minutes of it (while she was awake).
Dad, Mom, and Brooklyn enjoying our first fourth of July as a family!

So our dogs are terrified of fireworks and the big booms. So they hid most of the time under the chairs or under our feet.

This is the family as we left the field. Yes that is little bug zonked out in my arms. She was just so tired she could last most of the show. haha We enjoyed our first fourth and loved all the family time we got to spend together!

So my amazing sister-in-law (Catherine Ross) made these really cute hats for Brooklyn. She has worn them so much and people have been commenting how adorable they are. So I wanted to give a shout out to her and her wonderful talents. Thank you for sharing them with us!

Not the cutest picture of Baby B, but it shows off the cute hat!
This is my favorite one, since it is a cute cowgirl hat. Brooklyn wore this one a lot!
Thank You again Catherine for those adorable gifts!
Well I hope all is great in your neck of the woods!
