We got kittens!!!

So on our little farm we have a few new additions. Our mommy cat finally had her four little kittens. There is a totally black cat, a gray one, and a set of twins that are black and white. The only difference between the twins is that one has a black spot under it's nose. We call that one booger. Yeah I am so creative. haha So the mommy cat keeps moving them all over Doug's hay stacks. Which sounds just fine until you ask Doug and he says it is so annoying because he is trying to stack all the hay in the barn. But I freaked out and said he had to wait until the kittens were located and safely moved to an ok area. Poor Doug had to deal with a paranoid wife and a pesky mommy cat plus her four kittens. Man that guy has a lot patience.

Here are the kittens peaking out of the one of the haystacks. I think they were only a few weeks old then. Doug would come by and have to put the gray one or another one back up in the little hole because they fell out through out the day. What a great guy! haha

Can you tell which one is booger? haha

Well a few weeks later we found homes for these little kittens. The gray female went to our neighbors who have a little kido that just loves it to death. Then the other twin without the black spot went to another friend and his little girls since they helped feed our animals for us. While they were there the little girls found the kittens and just had to have one. haha So then the little black female went to another little girl we know and so far all of them are doing fabulous. So I really couldn't give aways little Booger. I know it is a really bad name, but it so fits that little punk.

This one is the little black female and she is so small compared to our older cats. She was a spitfire when she was around. She has crystal blue eyes and she made sure the dogs knew she was not happy they were near.

So while Doug was training the Draft horses I would sit out in the corals with him. well one day I noticed booger running in between the horses feet. AHHHH! not the smartest kitten we have. So I swiftly picked it up and put in on my shoulder as I was unharnessing the horses. This is where he stayed the whole time. Isn't he so cute!

Well I hope all is great in your neck of the woods!
