Mt Borah

Hey ya,

So Doug is in our young men's group and they came up with this really great idea to climb Mt Borah. This mountain is the tallest mt in Idaho. It is also ranked the 5th hardest to climb. It was 12, 667 feet! Of course nobody told the young men that until they got up and down the moutain.haha Doug ened up climbing with a handful of young men that were way excited to go. Well one of those kids got altitude sickness really back and poor Doug pretty much poked and prodded that kid all the way up and most of the way down. The kid thanked him for it, but man he was one sick puppy. Doug said he has never seen someone throwup so much in such a short amount of time. YUCK!

You can see the sick kid laying down behind Doug. He was so sick at this point, but there was no turning back. Man doesn't Doug look so handsome in that photo. hehe

This is Doug at the very top of the mountain. They were rushed to get this photo and then race down the mountain because a huge storm was rushing towards them. They really didn't want to be caught in that on a very tall mountain. Not the smartest thing to do. So they rushed down the mountain. The hike started at 4:30am and ended at 6:30pm. So pretty much the whole day. Doug and all the young men agreed that this particular hike was once in a life time. He really doesn't want to do that again. haha Well I hope all is great in your neck of the woods!
