Check that off my list!!

OK.. So I know that this is not a post about the house being redone. But I decided to take a quick side note and tell everyone who reads this blog that I have officially passed my NCLEX!!!!!
Yes, I am serious.
Here is how it all went down. Doug and I drove up Monday night to Boise, ID. We stayed at a ridiculously expensive hotel. (I know there are cheaper ones in Boise, but I didn't want to have to cross the interstate and deal with all the early morning traffic). Since I was already way nervous about missing my exam I decided to play it safe and eliminate all the obstacles if possible. I know I am such a weird duck. But anyways I spent way to much on it. That night I studied a little while Doug enjoyed watching the "Disney channel" at the hotel.
Half way through the night I got sick and barley made it to the bathroom. Lucky Doug slept through the entire episode. I hate that I get sick when I am nervous!
So to try to make this already long story short.
Tuesday morning at 7am I emptied my stomach once again and then headed to the testing center.
It took me two and a half hours to take my test. The test time limit is 5 hours. The minimum questions available are 85 and the max is 250. The computer will shut you down when it thinks you should be done and have answered enough questions. It can cut you off if it thinks you are really sucking it up or cut you off if you are answering enough questions right.
Not pressure or anything!!! Geesh.
So two and a half hours later I was so emotionally and physically drained that I bawled all the way home. Poor Douglas had to deal with me in that emotional state of mind.
But at last we checked online last night and all that was not in vein. I passed and now I am officially an LPN!
So there is my story. I hope all is great in your neck of the woods!

Congratulations on being an LPN. I have never gotten sick from being nervous before. That would really stink.
