It is official!!

O' Happy day... O' Happy Day!! It has been such a crazy roller coaster.. but we have finally made it. Doug and I are officially homeowners. We have signed the papers and are no more dealing with landlords and rent. Doug and I started to look for a house as soon as we graduated college, but of course we couldn't find a house that would fit his likes and mine at the same time. Our poor realtor took us to tons of houses and of course I would say yes and Doug would say no or visa verse. It was becoming more of a chore than a delight. But nearly two and a half years later we are in a house that we love. I can't wait to have a Bonfire with my packing boxes that I have had since I married Doug. I think I will finally be out of boxes for once!

Here is the break down of what we bought:

2 bathrooms (yeah)

5 bedrooms (yes, I said 5.. not what we planned but hey more room!)

2 living rooms

Big kitchen

Mudroom

2 car garage

4 acres.. pastures with water shares

Fenced in backyard

Hardwood floors in living room.

Electric fireplace in upper living room

Pellet fireplace in lower living room.

Two food storage rooms!

I am sorry to say we don't have pictures up yet, because the Internet is not up at the house , so I have to the updating here at work. So far on our house update we have ripped the carpet out of both the bedrooms upstairs and are replacing them this week. We have cleaned and painted the master bedroom and guest room too. It has been so much fun spending time with Doug and making grown up decisions, like what to color to paint things. I promise I will put pictures up of our adventures of new home owners.
