Hello everyone,
After our visit with them we drove in rain.. and snow to Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Funny thing.. I only packed shorts and Capri pants for the whole weekend. Not the smartest thing I've done. But anyways while we were there we went shopping and site seeing every free moment that we had.
While we were in Jackson we stopped by our old stomping grounds "Bar-T-5" ranch and said hello. I still can't believe it has been 6 years since we first met working at that exciting ranch. After a few funny stories and going down memory lane with our old crew members.
I couldn't get the photo to rotate, but there were tons of racks all over the place. Some looked like they would look fabulous in a huge cabin... since we don't have one we decided against buying any... also I don't think it would have fit in my suv anyways..
So this last weekend was a whirl wind of fun. Doug took me up to Jackson Hole, Wy. That is such an awesome place. I am kind of biased due to the fact that is where I met my Prince charming and fell in love with him. That is also where I learned how to be a cowgirl... but that is a whole different post.
So anyways Doug had a work conference up there during our anniversary so we didn't even have to pay for our vacation is some ways!! Bonus!
On Wednesday we got as far as Doug's parents house in our travel plans. While we were there I got to hit around a few golf balls with my father in law and sister in law. It was really fun.

We stopped for a second to pose for the picture. The second photo is my father in law and I competing to see who hit the farthest... He won!

The week we happened to be there, the antler sale was going on. Here are some of the big racks we saw....

I still think it is weird to be able to go snowboarding in May.. but there was enough snow to do a few runs.
Doug standing in a few feet of snow. Saying good bye to the snow covered valley!
On our journey home we stopped by Lisa and Ben's house and enjoyed a quick visit. Then we stopped at Matt and Janae's house for the night. We enjoyed the family time, and wonderful food. Thanks guys... O yeah funny story, so in the wee hours of the morning of Sunday I heard a sound near my side of the bed. When I opened my eyes little Zander was smiling so sweetly at me and whispered.. "Uncle Doug?". So I pulled him into bed with Doug and I. He was out in seconds. A few hours later I woke up to two little feet in my ribs and a hand in my face. I have to admit it was kinda funny!! So all in all my fifth anniversary weekend was packed full of fun and wonderful experiences. So I hope all is great in your neck of the woods!!!
