wild and crazy things we do!!

Hey everyone who reads this blog. So earlier this month I had written a retraction on my accusation of my dear husband's lack of shopping for me during the Christmas season. So I thought I would show the most amazing present he gave me this year. The hope chest is made with a cherry finish. It is beautiful. I am so glad he knows me so well. I don't think I could have picked out such a wonderful hope chest for myself. So here is the beauty her self......

Yeah so you all probably wonder what I put in my beautiful hope chest...... Um yeah I put all my jeans and cute pants inside it. Real dumb I know!!! but OK hear me out, this is my reasoning for putting my jeans there. I don't have much space in my tiny closet due to all Doug's stuff and we will be yet again moving in the near future so I thought I would put my keepsakes in my Tupperware to keep it nice until the wonderful day when Doug and I own or have a house where I will have space for my jeans and stuff. HA HA!

OK I also wanted to show you guys what crazy things my dear husband has to come home to for dinner. Yeah I know he didn't marry me for my cooking skills. I told him when we were dating that I sucked at cooking and had no plans to improve them right away. But hey old dogs can learn new tricks. So here is what Doug came home to today....

.
Yup... you guess it he got to eat my creative chocolate chip pancakes. His was a big bird. Mine was the puppy looking one out of the two. I was going to try and do Mikey mouse and Minny mouse but I decided to think outside the box this time. Anyways hope all is great in your neck of the woods. O' yeah stay tuned for the next blog post, it will be amazing!!!

I happened to read this right before I needed to eat. Now I'm really hungry. I'm anticipating your next post. Don't disappoint. Take it easy!!

That is pretty funny. At least you don't have a cooking degree like I do. Then they expect you to cook great food all of the time. :} I am just fine with having breakfast for dinner. I am not ashamed to admit that.
