With my recently new calling in church I am now helping to do all our RS activities. Being the second counsler in RS seemed somewhat easy until I realized all that it entails. So one of my favorite activties was a get to know you night. We have such a wide range of ages with our women, that I wanted to do some get to know you activities to try and help these women open up to each other. So here was the activity:
"I mustache you a question"
So we had bingo cards that looked like this given to every person who came.

The girls only had two minutes to chat with the lady across from them before they time went off and they had to move to the right and see another person. The goal was to fill your card up by chatting with the ladies.  You could only fill two squares up with one lady you chatted with or you would win the bingo in 2 minutes if you chatted real fast.
When you did get a bingo you had to stand up and shake your hips and sing bingo real loud!

Some of the goodies I found on amazon to help out this activity... Mustache cookie cutters.

My amazing helper who put up with cutting out all the different mustaches and lips. He really was kinda attached to the handle bar mustache.

This is what the table center pieces looked like. The jars were filled with all types of candies.
Testing out one of the mustaches. "I mustache you a question".

This was all the candy I bought for the activity. There were tons of small mason jars all over the tables filled with all candy. So if the ladies got stuck trying to ask questions they would pick up one color and look at the cheat sheet we made for them.
For example:
Red: your favorite sport
Yellow: a chore you hate to do.
To help spark the conversation if it became dull....
Lets just say that there was so much talk and the candy was nearly eliminated before the activity was up. I don't think they used the cheat sheets at all. haha

My friend Tera Perry lent this really cute piece of work to me to help advertise about our activity. It also was decor at the party.

These are some of the Bingo prizes. We had tons of fun stuff : nail poilish, socks, towels, candles, large candy bars..... the list goes on.
We had a black out round where all the ladies got up and mingled with each other for two minutes to try and finish their cards up to win a prize. Our black out prizes were: 5 live goldfish, two potted plants, and Big bags of chocolate.

Here are some of the ladies at table one.

Here are some of the ladies at table two.

Here are some of the ladies at table three.
I hope this post makes sense. It was a blast to work with my activities committee on this project. I hope all is great in your neck of the woods.
