our snow family fun

So we finally got some really good snowman making snow. What did we do.... we woke up at 7am and pulled on all our snow gear and began making a snow family. Brooklyn was slightly worried when the snowman began to be much taller than her. I handed her the bag of carrots to hold as I went searching for items to be eyes and noses. When I returned half the bag was eaten and she was singing the "snowman song" from church. "Once there was a snowman then he melted melted gone gone gone" was her version of the song.

Brooklyn was really helpful when it came to measuring and finding sticks for the arms.

So it is all fun and games until you get stuck in the snow and mommy is too busy taking photos to help you. The fun was short lived because she had such a hard time walking around in it.

But we had a blast and by 4pm that day it was all melted away. Glad we got up and hurried to make our first snowman with Brooklyn.
