Merry Christmas 2013. This year we got out tree early so that we could enjoy it. So there is our super daddy putting up the tree.
Brooklyn said "I help" and propley sat down at the base of the tree to supervise.
Her favorite part was pulling the needles down and screwing in the bolts to the tree trunk. She was telling daddy how to put the tree up. Sadly I can't find the picture of us all in front of the finished tree. I will have to keep searching. I was kinda worried this year with little hands on all the ornaments. But she was really good about putting them all back on eventually.
So this year we spent Christmas with Doug's parents this year. We also got the joy of having Aunt Diana there too. On Christmas morning Brooklyn went and woke up aunt Diana and pulled her out of bed so that she could come help find the stocking.

The book is called Duck and Goose. It came with two stuffed toys of Duck and Goose. She loves those two toys and constantly makes Doug read her the book and then acted it out with the stuffed animals.
Brooklyn was really in to helping everyone unwrap their gifts. She helped mommy unwrap her gift.
She loved to mimmick any thing you say. So I said "Oh Baby", in regards to one of the toys she got. She quickly said "oh Baby". in her cute little voice.
Brooklyn helped Aunt Diana pass out all the gifts. She sort of got distracted a few times and sat down to unwrap the gift she was handed to give someone else.
After the presents were unwrapped Bug just wanted to snuggle and watch everyone enjoy their gifts. I think she was slightly tired because of her early morning activities.
One of the really fun things about this Christmas was watching my mother in law get a brand new Bosch. She was so surprised and ecstatic to have a new one.
