Well I don't have all the pictures from the family reunion, but I got a fun one off of my sista-in-law's facebook page. So here is the whole Yearsley clan:
So the weekend consisted of tons of funny stories around the campfire. Which I found out a lot about my hubby and his younger years. For nearly 7 years I have thought that my sweet hubby was always the kinda and gentle one of the boys... yeah that was a pack of lies he fed me. haha I learned a few fun stories about him and his teenage years. The little punk!
Then we spent most of Saturday doing a family rodeo. There was barrel racing (which was such a blast). I haven't done that is a while and it was a rush. Lisa and I would totally spend most of the time doing that if we had the chance. haha Then we had the cafe riding event. The nieces and nephews had a ball doing that. Then I opened by big mouth and said "that doesn't look too hard." SO my sista-in-law (Lisa) and I decided to give it a shot. Poor Lisa did it first and looked great for a few seconds and then she ate it hard. Sorry Lisa!! She got up and walked it off, what a trooper!! Then it was my turn, I was freaked cus five seconds ago my sista in law just hit it hard and now I am about to do the same event... just screams stupid! But I only had one second to be thinking straight and then I was out of the shoot. I landed gracefully on my bum and did a beautiful dismount!! haha
After that we did a few more fun filled events. It was a blast to see my relatives just having a hay-day!
The photo above is after our rodeo fun! There were tons of hours of laughter and giggles! Thanks Yearsley crew for the memories! Can't wait until next year.... o wait Doug and I have to plan the next reunion.... any ideas? well I hope all is great in your neck of the woods!
