Christmas day

Hey to who ever reads this blog. So I finally have time to finish up our Christmas vacation pictures. Then I can start showing our progress pictures on our house. So like I was saying we spent Christmas in Arizona with me family.

So part of our family tradition is reading about our savior and his birth. My mom has some really cool children's books that bring the story to all levels. This is my dad reading to the group.

This is the crew for the funny picture!

Then Santa came and the room became a huge pile of Christmas wrapping and ribbons. It was fun to see all the excitement unfold.

I got some really cute puppets and children's books for Christmas.Doug got loads of MR. Potato head toys. ( He loves MR. Potato Heads). Sadly I don't have a picture with him and all his presents. Oops!

SO with every family there are those funny moments. Well mine is always packed with those moments. This is my little brother Logan showing off one of his gifts he got. Doug put tons of guy socks in some little girl tights. ( don't know where he comes up with this). Just to pull a prank on my little brother. Well Logan got a kick out of it and showed us his love for his present!

Ok another fun thing my family did was the POLAR PLUNGE!! yeah my parents have a pool, but it is not heated. So it is like maybe 50or 40 degrees during the winter. Logan challenged us to jump in and see who would last the longest. Doug and Chrisco both tied. They lasted at least 20 minutes in there. I have a video of Logan and I both jumping in, but I will save you the ear splitting screams and yells and just tell you that we only lasted like two seconds after we jumped in. One word expains it all "BRRR"!

Then later that night we had a smore cook off on my parents patio. We all sat around the campfire and made some yummy smores. My little niece got to enjoy the taste of marsh mellows due to my dad and his sneaky ways. haha

Doug got lots of sticky kisses from Molly!

Well that is some of the fun stuff the Ross family did while in Arizona. I can't wait for our next adventures with them. Thanks again mom and dad for the fun memories. Well I hope my next post will be about our progress on the house. Until then I hope all is great in your neck of the woods!
