So I come to you via work computer. It was a very terrible day for little house hold. I will try to keep short, but we had to say goodbye to two of our dearest friends. We leaned on them for nearly four years and felt we could trust them....... So yeah I came home and tried to start up my husband's laptop and it wouldn't even turn a light on. So then I thought hey did I even plug the darn thing in.
yes... I do get a few of those types of moments each day. he he
But nope it was plugged in. So after fiddling with it for twenty minutes I finally pulled my laptop out to get something done. yeah guess what it did......Nothing. yeah it had the darn idea that it didn't even want to start up. So I sat there for an hour turning it on and off to get it to just start up. UGH!!!! I just can't believe that after nearly four years they both decided to call it quites at the same stinking time. So yeah we are open to any ideas that might help us out here.
We really like the programs we have on them and don't want to pay a huge lump sum to get new ones. So I am asking for any ideas.......... well until I have a computer that works we may be off line for a while. So until we meet again, I hope all is great in your neck of the woods.

Well, we LOVE our macs. Yes we have two, one is a laptop. We have had it for a long time as well. When our first mac went out, it did the same thing. The screen wouldn't come on at all. It was dead so we went out and bought our second one. This was a long time ago. We love the programs it comes with and the customer service. We have honestly received so many free things from the Apple store, it is worth the money you pay for a mac. That is my hint to you though. :)

Oh no, my laptop is four years old. I hope mine makes it through this comment. :) That is so random that they both quit at the same time, same day. Good thing that you'll get new ones together because Jeff got a new one last year, and he won't even touch mine, like it is diseased or something. What a snob. So at least neither one of you will turn into a techno snob.
Sorry that happened. We had a similiar situation, UNTIL we got Apples and will never, absolutely never ever ever go back or to any other computer. Good luck.
aww that sucks! But better then what I thought you were going to say, like someone died! If you need a computer, you can always come over to my house. Lord knows it needs a break from FB :)
Maybe they both caught the swine flu :)
