OK , I know I am so slacking on getting my vacation on the blog. So We are almost done with the Washington vacation. This post is about us staying in the rain forest up there. It was so beautiful there. They told us that they were in a drought. But everything was still so green! I guess their drought is not like Idahos.
Anyways So while we camped in the rain forest we decided to go exploring in the river. Which I should explain is fed by a Glacier. That will explain the looks on our faces while we are in the water. ha ha There were huge trees that had fallen into the river. One of them I climbed on and it went clear across the river. Doug and Adam found one that was so big I couldn't get it in to the picture even after I walked a couple yards away from them. Talk about HUGE!!!!
We also got to go on a hike through the Rain forest. There was moss everywhere we looked. Yes and there were bugs (lots of them). Especially the blood sucking ones!!! So we hiked a few yards and found this tree that was so big it would have taken like six or seven people lined up hand to hand to fit around it. Doug and I decided to be like the natives.....and hugged a tree!!ha ha
So anyways it was so amazing. On our way back we found this amazing sign about Twilight. Of course Miriam and I had to get a picture in front of it. Well I hope all is great in your neck of the woods. I think I only have one more day of Washington left. ..... maybe!
