A quick adventure to Hamer!

Hello everyone.... this last weekend we decided to take a really quick trip to Southern Idaho. Doug has been going to his home town Rodeo for years so of course we couldn't miss it. I actually really love going to that rodeo every year. They just have some really fun events and really good stock. SO while we were there we got to witness a really fun event where there are three different age groups. The first one is like 9years on down and they have who ever fits that age group come down into the arena and line up on a line. Then they let loose a little cafe with a piece of tap on it's back side. They yell go and all these kids race to grab that tape cus then they get like 10 dollars.

So here is a view of the second group running after this poor little cow.

Then the third group was Doug 's age. We decided to just chill and watch form the bleachers. (safer!!) So this whole time they are like "It's just a little baby cow come on down to the arena". So all these gullible adults waltz on out there and wait to get that piece of tape so they can earn 50 dollars.

Guess who came out of the shoot towards every one.........

This huge dude. yeah his horns were as long as my arm span!!! Get this a guy totally sprinted at the beast and grabbed the tape with in seconds!! Now that was exciting to see.

So while we were at Hamer I noticed the field across from the house is all wheat and practically ready to cut. I have been wanting a picture of Doug and I in a field like that. I know I sound so hill billy but heck those are always cute pictures. SO my dear mother in law decided to help me out and take some really cute pictures. Here are the results:
