Hey you all.... So I got this phone call on Tuesday of this week from the college of Southern Idaho. The lady on the other end told me that I had been selected to be in the LPN program this semester and wondered if I could start the next day. I was a little shocked since I wasn't supposed to start for another semester. But Who am I to complain. HECK YEAH!!!! SO I literally hit the ground running to get all my books (which cost over $600 dollars). Ouch not counting the duffel bag of supplies I have to get (another $200)!Ugh and not to mention my tuition for this semester.
But If I keep telling you how much I have dropped in the last two days I will get depressed. So enough of the sad part of getting into the program of my dreams. I am so excited to be in the program and constantly have to pinch myself to help me realize that I did actually make it and am going to be busy busy for the next 11 months. WOW .....
Then to top things off I have had to scramble to get all my information in( what I mean by that is the background checks, immunization records, Health exams, Dental Exams..ect.) So I was almost ready to be done with them and then I get this sad realization that my CPR certification expired last month. HOLY COW yet another thing I had to get done in order to be in the program. SO I quickly call the hospital and they had a cancellation for the next morning. Luck? ... I think not. I am so so grateful for all the blessings that keep just being poured down upon me.I am supposed to be in this program I guess. So Wish me luck cus man I am going to need it. I have to admit once I got my bachelors degree I thought I would never go back to school but heck why not get another degree for fun!! Love you all and hope all is great in your neck of the woods.
