Just Horsing around!

Hey you all who read this blog. So we have been trying to spend time outside since it is still warm and sunny. Doug decided one morning that he wanted to go riding and convinced me to go. Only problem is, that there is just one saddle that we own. So guess who rode on the saddle.... Doug. Yup he rode on the saddle and I rode bareback. Thank goodness my horse was mellow. The black horse Doug rode is called "Hank". Yes, I know that sounds kinda lame for a horse name, but we didn't pick it. I got to ride a pretty paint horse named Sandra. I always wondered how people come up with their horses names. But anyways here are a few of the fun pictures of our day out in the sun.

What a hot cowboy I married!!!

Yeah, that is me on a horse with out a saddle!!

Close up of Hank with Kathryn !
We hope that your days are great and you are having fun. I probably won't blog until after Thanksgiving. So until then I hope everything is great in your neck of the woods. Love ya tons!!

How fun! Are you goin to Doug's for Thanksgiving? If you are, we should meet up sometime. We'd love to see you. We will be around anytime! It's Grey's birthday on thanksgiving too! Can't believe it!

Horseback riding sounds like so much fun, even without a saddle :) I'm glad you two live in an area where you can still do the things you love.

How do people come up with their horses names? I can tell you stories and bazaar theories from working at the Appaloosa Journal ;) Every so often there would be a name that we just had to share with the rest of the office.

My favorite was the white horse named Ebony. At first I thought the owners had my kind of humor, which dictates that things get named the opposite from what they are (like my 2 lbs. dog named Brutus). But this horse had actually been BORN pure black! So their irony was totally unintentional.
